The Chicago Region of the Porsche Club of America was established in 1957 as the Chicago-Milwaukee region, making the 6th region in the country. The region was the host of the fourth Parade in 1959 at Nippersink Manor in southern Wisconsin. By 1960, the northern Illinois membership had grown so large that it could support its own region and a split at the border could be made. Beginning in 1960, the original Chicago-Milwaukee region became the Chicago region, and a new region was created in Milwaukee. We are one of the largest regions with more than 4000 members and are part of PCA’s Zone 13.
For more on how the region started, click here.
The members of the Chicago Region of the Porsche Club of America are joined together and are mutually pledged to the furtherance and promotion of the following:
- The highest standards of motor vehicle maintenance, driving courtesy and safety on the roads.
- The enjoyment and sharing of goodwill and fellowship engendered by owning a Porsche and engaging in such social, educational, or other events as may be agreeable to the membership.
- The maintenance of the highest standards of operation and performance of the marque by sharing and exchanging technical and mechanical information.
- The establishment and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships with the Porsche Works, Porsche Dealers, and other service sources to the end that the marque shall prosper and continue to enjoy its unique leadership and position in sports car annals.
- The interchange of ideas and suggestions with other Porsche Clubs and other interested parties throughout the world and in such cooperation as may be desirable.
- The establishment of such mutually cooperative relationships with other car clubs as may be desirable.
- The preservation of the independence of the Porsche Club of America (PCA) and the Chicago Region, free of control or undue influence by any outside individual, organization, company, or other entity, no matter how closely aligned to the Club in interest or purpose. In furtherance of this goal, the Porsche Club of America – Chicago Region is and shall remain a totally member-driven and primarily member-financed independent entity allowing neither inappropriate nor undue influence, financial or material, from outside its domain, owing allegiance only to its members.
For more information about becoming a member, see our membership page here.

The Porsche Exchange
The Porsche Exchange is a Porsche exclusive dealership that operates out of Highland Park. We have been here for over 30 years and we have worked with thousands of Porsche customers and enthusiasts over the years. We would love to work with you. Though we may be a large dealer with over 100 new Porsche models routinely in stock, we are still a family-owned dealership, and we look forward to each and every customer interaction.

Fall is upon us, so on October 4 we return to the Two Brothers Roundhouse for a laid-back Porsches & Pilsners event.
Park your Porsche in the large lot, check out the beautiful cars, and say hello to your friends. Grab a cold one and relax on the patio if it is warm enough, or inside at the bar (They brew their own). Feel like some food? You are in the right place! Make a reservation on your own for whatever time you prefer, during or after our event.
There is no plan for us to sit down as a large group, so you and your friends will need to arrange any dining plans on your own. You can make a dinner reservation via their Open Table link. Or give them a call at (630) 892-0232.
Passion for beer, love of food and appreciation for great architecture flourish in the walls of this historic 70,000 square foot facility.
Just so you know, the roundhouse was constructed in 1856 to serve Aurora on the Chicago & Aurora Railroad. The walls of the structure were constructed with locally quarried limestone from Batavia, Illinois. The building is the oldest limestone roundhouse in the United States and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. You can even ride the Metra BNSF train to the station just a few feet from their door.
Please register at Club Registration for this event so that we can inform you of any last-minute details that might arise.
See you there, rain or shine!

Our adventure will start at the Funk’s Grove Rest Area on I-55 in McLean, IL. 61754. We will then drive to the Riverside Smoke House and Grill in Quincy, IL for lunch.
Then it is on to the Margaritaville Lake Resort, in Osage Beach, MO, which is our base for the weekend.
Just for the record, I have a free suite, “The Parlor Suite” reserved for our Friday evening Happy Hour/Welcome Party and for the entire day Sunday so we can watch football and socialize. Those who want to participate on Sunday will check out on Monday October 20!
The last time we visited the resort in 2017, it was 90 degrees outside, and the welcome party was held outside! Did I mention all the foliage was green? Our Friday cocktail party this year will be indoors, in air-conditioned comfort!
On Saturday morning 10-18 we will take a scenic drive to Baxter’s Lakeside Grill where we will have lunch on a bluff overlooking the lake.
Saturday evening, we will have drinks and dinner at the Margarita Lake Resort. (Possibly outdoors, if the weather cooperates.) We always have great food and beverages and let us not forget all the raffle items and the world renowned “Schnauzer Joke” among others!
Room pricing ranges from $163.00 for a guest Room to $366.00 for a two-bedroom suite plus tax. Reservations can be made by Calling: 800-826-8272.

Help Support Chicago’s Next Generation Engineers and Innovators!
On October 26 we are holding a special Porsches and Pastries style event with SparkShop that will include opportunities for members to help pack the educational supplies needed by students to build, prototype and experiment, as part of a hands-on engineering learning curriculum designed for Chicago’s 4th and 5th grade, and soon, high school students. SparkShop is the PCA Chicago Region’s 2025 Charity of the Year.
Your participation supports their free, in-school programs, which give students hands-on experience with 8 fields of engineering. SparkShop students develop STEM identity, confidence, and curiosity, equipping them to invent solutions to the problems they’re passionate about.
This fall, SparkShop is growing (by 25%) to work with 50 schools! Over 93% of their students are underrepresented in STEM, on the basis of race, gender, and/or socioeconomic status. SparkShop is a nonprofit that builds free engineering curriculum for Chicago elementary schools that serve low-income and minority students. Their goal is to introduce students to the dynamic opportunities in STEM and equip them with the confidence and knowledge they need to succeed.
This event will be held in the morning on October 26, 2025, 9 am to 12 noon, at club member Andy Bizub’s Midwest Performance Cars in the West Loop, at 2105 W Fulton St, Chicago, IL 60612, just around the corner from SparkShop headquarters. Snacks and beverages will be available.
Get together with friends for a cup of coffee, show off your car, and help to make STEM learning available for Chicago students.

This is our last Porsches and Pastries of the season at one of our favorite venues. As in past years we will be supporting the “Toys for Tots” mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. Come on out and have a hot cup of coffee on a chilly day and meet our Marine Corps volunteers who will be accepting your toy donations.
We will be accepting unwrapped, new toys still in their original boxes/containers. Unpackaged stuffed animals and toy weapons that have a realistic look to them cannot be accepted. If you find yourself unable to pick up some gifts in time and still want to make a donation, we will have a QR code posted at the event that will direct you to the Toys for Tots donation page. How cool is that?
Please register in advance…we want to give our hosts an idea of how many members are coming and to permit us to reach you if there are any last minute changes. Please include the total number in your party.
Labriola Ristorante is located just slightly east of the old Bakery & Cafe that had been a great host for some time, and is served by the same parking area. Labriola Ristorante has a new dining format and features a great weekend brunch menu (I’ll be having steak and eggs). Coffee and carry-out items are available, as is sit down table service. Yes friends, donuts WILL be on the carry-out menu. You can see their menu and make a reservation if you wish here: www.labriolaoakbrook.com
As always, please wear your Club name tags to help new members feel welcome. Be sure to say hello to the U.S. Marine Corps volunteers attending this event!
See you there!
